Hourglass blocks

It was a fine cold sunny day. I planted my little Acer that I grew from seed, and fenced it in against the drafters deer!
Bonnie had a little play with Izzie, they are becoming doggie friends which is fortunate, as this evening Bonnie went to Izzie’s house for the evening! Rob and I went to the final Beekeeper meetings of the year. We had a quiz, and a Jacobs Join, and a raffle. My ticket was drawn first! I chose the Damson Gin, of course!
I did a little on my new patchwork. It’s a Kaffe Fassett pattern and he’s not afraid to use colours! It will be interesting to see how this works in the end,but meanwhile I am working on getting my patchwork points to meet up accurately . I’m pleased with these!
