Black poplar at sunset

This was taken looking east where there was pinkish light on the few clouds whereas to the west there was just an orange/yellow glow. The extra was taken about 30 mins later from the bedroom window and is looking SW and more colour had developed.
Cold and sunny all day today and I managed to get the washing almost freeze-dried, it smells great.
Keepfit and 2 lots of shopping this morning. I went to the garden centre to buy some pots and had to get help, they were frozen to the stand! The assistant kindly also took them out to the car for me.
This afternoon I did a few jobs, some knitting and a short run, it was beautiful out there despite the cold.
Usual Zoom prayer meeting this evening and then some, fruitless, searching for a suitable sample Safeguarding Policy for church, our's needs to be re-written.
