A much nicer day than yesterday and less tourists - go figure. I met up with a Canadian pal Mandy and we had a very good catch up and wander around Christmas fairs. It was nice to see a few jewellery makers I know. 

On the way home we cut through Waverley and came across this steam train. The train takes an hour trip around Edinburgh with actors onboard recreating scenes from the movie. I didn’t know there was a Polar Express movie - you learn something new every day. The train was packed with many excited looking children - I hope they enjoyed the trip.
