Workplace resources

The area around my workplace computer can have an interesting array of items. I'm normally pretty good at putting resources away as we've used them, partly for my own sake, but also to promote the independence of my visually impaired students who all know exactly where their equipment should be.  Today, it was all still there at the end of the day! It's all away now, though.

I had three different VI students over the course of today - one was using the cubes to support their division practising, another was using the tactile ruler and protractor with adapted tactile diagrams to practice work on pie charts, and the last one was using the large bit of equipment for reading standard print worksheets - they can also write on the platform under the magnifier, though that's a skill they are learning as their previous education establishment didn't have this bit of kit.

I do confess, I've been known to use that bit of equipment for reading very small print....
