sunny but wind whipped

The city was shut down this morning due to icy roads and low temperatures. I was glad to stay in the comfort of my home until things warmed up a bit. What I didn't expect was the gusts of wind that blew the icy snow around. You can see it happening at the open end of this trail. I was planning to get some errands done today, but now I think it is a good day to stay in and read.
