Get over yourself…

My late Dad’s old Peugeot which resides with us and which I drive is a source of frequent amusement and nostalgia, from the fishing flies stuck in the seats to the Hosanna palm in the driver’s door.  More regular laughs come from the ever changing temperature gauge which seems to reflect a wild counterpoint to the actual state of the weather.  In the heat of summer I am warned of ice and now, heading off in what was a brisk 5 degrees Celsius it started by telling me it was 59 degrees before settling for longer on scorching 51.  It makes me laugh every time.  The clock has to stay on GMT which means it’s right 6 months of the year.   The fuel usage is accurate though.

Managed a quick morning walk and a lunchtime one.  Did quite a few calls today and moved some things on.

V back late but I was fasting so ate early and watched some of shows only I am watching (Industry and The Diplomat) and read Intermezzo.
