I was clipping away and saw this spider, which I'm afraid I can't identify, as I was on the wrong side of it.
I would have had to get inside the rhodo for a close look, and that wasn't going to happen.
I think it's an unspectacular garden spider of some variety, but it has become pretty spectacular with the magic of the macro lens.
I know I should have something to compare it to, to show the scale, but I didn't want it to disappear, so it's on its tod.
And it's about 15mm.
