Nice!

These mini mince pies which we had for dessert yesterday. The first of many probably!

Today has been spent mainly with Iris who is quite poorly again with a chest infection. Yesterday the ambulance team gave her a thorough assessment. It probably should have been hospital but even they supported her decision against that. So today we put the wheelchair into the car and went to her surgery. No joy. No appointments except this afternoon. So back we went later. It’s antibiotics and steroids for a week. Her doctor gives her so much time; a very caring and understanding lady. No wonder she is in demand.

A much potted version of the day. I do hope Iris gets some sleep tonight and her cough gives her a break. We collected her medication immediately to get it going. In between visits I managed to do some party prep for the ladies tomorrow. It’s a week of seasonal treats!
