Dunblane and The Trossachs

First taste of ice on the roads this winter so I am very cautious out walking in search of a photo for the day.
Christmas cards have started to pour in but I have yet to start ours. I have had other things on my mind today because Leo is injured.
Unlike trying to get an appointment at the doctors I am offered a vets one immediately.
Pets get Rolls Royce treatment at our vets . ( Yes this is reflected in the fees they charge). Today we are ushered into a special Cat Room away from the excitable dogs and other animals waiting to be seen.

I am just about to start photographing the Cat Room with its giant portrait of a cat  when we get called in.
The verdict? After a series of tests, the vet concludes Leo has not had a stroke nor been run over by a car but he has been subjected to an attack by some animal.
I still maintain there was some kind of vehicle involved because last night he came home covered in sand and grit, unable to walk without toppling over and this morning when he heard a car going past he took fright, tried to run and fell over.
