Making Progress

The builders across the way are getting on with the work to convert a small garden into a parking space - a response to the increased restriction of on-street parking. And apart for the possible increased run-off from the hard surfaces it isn't a bad change as that side of the road is no parking anyway so the drop kerb won't replace a public space with a private one.
Football was a game of tight margins. Eight-a-side and hard fought. I hit the post when we were one up and the other team went down the other end an equalised. That was the closest I game to a goal and despite a couple of spells of 'goalmouth pinball' in their box we didn't convert enough chances, and they did and they won by one goal in the end.
