Swalecliffe Seafront
Sunday morning. It’s warmer today and cloudy, but for the most part, the rain stayed away. V is working again today. I decided to head out for a walk, and for the sake of a change of scenery, I drove to Tankerton on the north Kent coast. There’s a lovely walk to be had there, past colourful beach huts, shingle beaches and the long straight promenade from Swalecliffe to Herne Bay. This view is replete with leading lines and in the distance, you can see the Hampton Pier and the old Herne Bay Pier remnant on the horizon. After my stroll, I stopped for an excellent English breakfast at the Sea View Cafe overlooking the Tankerton Slopes.
