2024 Saturday — Boat Parade

I have absolutely busted my piggy bank, smashed it to smithereens, because for the second evening in a row I invited Mr. Fun to go on a dinner date with me. Tonight I had a two-fold reason: I wanted to be with Mr. Fun and I wanted to attend the “Morro Bay Holiday Lighted Boat Parade.”

I had a blast. It was so fun to be out with all the people having fun. We had to wait almost an hour for dinner (the restaurants don’t take reservations), but oh dinner was so worth the wait, and having fun, with Mr. Fun, was good.

Why all the festivities? We are preparing for the celebration of the “Birth of a King.” Do you know Jesus? This holiday is really an invitation to “Come! God invited each of us to come and kneel at the manger, to accept Jesus Christ as Lord, to have our names written in the Book of Life, and to live forever with Him.” It’s the best invitation you will ever be given.
