Clifton Suspension Bridge

We tried to drive over this bridge yesterday but it was closed due to high winds.
However, today we made it. Crossing to the north Somerset side, we parked up and walked back over it. It's a magnificent structure. It was still quite windy and as we crossed you could feel it moving. When we got to the other side and looked back, you could see it moving. Scary.
The bridge was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and the foundation stone was laid in 1836. At the time of its construction it was the longest bridge of its kind.
