Dùn Dè

We headed over to Dundee today to see the Kimono Exhibition which is nearing the end of its run at the V&A. 

I did enjoy it - there were some beautifully rich and ornate fabrics on display, although I was also taken by the white bridal outfit which was ornate in its own way.  

We enjoyed lunch in the cafe then looked at the Dundee Tapestry and then headed over the McManus Galleries, an old favourite from childhood visits to Dundee to visit Grandparents.  I enjoyed the A  Weather Eye exhibition as well as coffee and cake. 

We came back via Coupar Angus and Dunkeld and getting getting glimpses of what looked like a stunning sunset. 

Last night we watched Outlander and a familar face popped up in one scene - A (our daughter) who was an extra in the dance scene. She is the blurry figure on the left in the extra.
