Christmas Begins

Tuesday morning, and just a short supervising shift today. The rain has stayed away, and we’ve had mostly clear skies—but it’s been very cold. Work passed by uneventfully, and I managed to escape promptly at one. I grabbed a coffee in Starbucks before heading home for a quiet afternoon (before the rest of the family returned for the evening). Vanessa took the plunge and started the Christmas decorations, alternating between flurries of nostalgia and frustration at tangled lights. I took a couple of very low-light pictures of the baubles once the tree was finished. With help from Topaz AI to denoise and sharpen the images, they turned out ok.
