Storm Damage

I'd heard there was a tree or two blown down in my local park, so late afternoon I went over to have a look. One had already been cut up and cleared away, but this huge part of this tree trunk was still there. The photo doesn't really do justice to how big it is. If it had fallen the other way then a couple of those houses would have had some serious damage. My grandsons friend lives in one of those houses, and I'm sure they're counting their blessings how lucky they were. Another view in extras.
