Floribunda

We've been overwhelmed by the generosity of our friends following W's surgery last week; lots of flowers have arrived for her (plus one rather nice box of chocolates).  We had so many that we had to borrow vases from local friends to accommodate them!  We gathered them together to top up the water today so I took the opportunity to take a shot of them all together.

In other news we were 'Evri'd' again last night; the courier company that tries to find ever more inventive ways to annoy you.  They left two parcels on the doorstep at 11pm last night, after we had gone to bed.  One thankfully in plastic but the other in cardboard, but bearing in mind that it was just as Storm Darragh hit with torrential rain and high winds overnight, you can imagine what state they were in when we found them this morning.  I wonder what their next ploy will be; I'm guessing ring the doorbell and set fire to the parcel before we can get to it.
