The rain

We have been so lucky with the weather during the excavations in Ardnamurchan. Digging isn't much fun when it's pouring down.

There were a few showers today, but thankfully the promised thunderstorm held off until the evening. The platic sheet roof of the courtyard we are staying at really amplified the sound the rain made!
