Evening Glow

After a rainy morning and grey day (with no walk, but a gym visit for me), we saw bits of blue sky in the afternoon, and at sunset the sky lit up with warm colours.

The extra shows a surprise - a male blackcap in the tree next to one of our bird feeders. A common enough bird in spring and summer, but normally a migratory species. Mr Blackcap should really be somewhere around the Meditarrenean or in milder Western Europe now. But I guess our winters have been so warm in recent years that many birds are now deciding to stay here.
