Rain

It rained during the night and has been raining hard all day.  We've not had a decent break to have a walk.  

The hound is cosy by the living room radiator.  I've been drawing until just before 3pm when natural illumination plunged into further gloom.

I'm now chilling with a neighbour's loaned book Imperial Mud - The Fight for the Fens by James Boyce which is an interesting read.

Will accompany reading with a freshly brewed coffee and a slice of chocolate and banana loaf.  It's that sort of day.
