Never met a person called Darragh
But I’ve met his storm. I obeyed the red alert on my phone and stayed at home. The wind was really roaring through the trees at the back. Of course all the wheelie bins blew over and gradually slid up the road. But I didn’t really have any problems. I spoke to my friend D in Polperro who is without electricity, which is worse for him than it would be for me, as they don’t have gas there - so he can’t make a hot drink, or fill a hot water bottle. Plus his car is electric.
After a day of heavy grey skies and rain, suddenly the sky changed colour at sunset, and just for a few minutes it looked like this.
