Ragtag
I have heard various members of my family going on about Ragtag Arts for a while now and had decided to investigate.
We spent a few hours with my dad, BIL and his offspring this morning whilst my mum and sister were off at their wreath making course. It was good fun if slightly odd being just the boys, but I think we handled it well!
Post-lunch and we headed back home to collect a friend from across the street who was keen to join us on our trip to the aforementioned Ragtag.
Their premises is effectively full of crap. Stuffed to the gills with stuff that was destined for the tip and you could probably quite easily lose a few days in there unearthing a few treasures! The Youngest and chum took their time and found a few bits to bring their ideas to fruition (him - a rocket, her - a robot).
The basket o’stuff (extras) plus a couple of extras set me back a whole £7 before we headed back to the ranch to begin the creation process.
For the second time this weekend, there was another defined three hour period, but this one flew by as we all sat around the table, cutting, sticking and gluing like nobody’s business.
In the end, we had a two stage rocket (complete with escape pod) not pictured and The Youngest’s creation, a Christmas Wonka bot which delivers presents (there’s a flap in the bottom).
Great way to spend an afternoon hiding from the strong winds!
