Classic Christmas

I have only once before experienced winds such as we were treated to yesterday and that was in Patagonia.  It was a day to hunker on down after getting in some provisions.
Dont we all love mulled wine and panettone? (this is the 3rd one of the season).  I have been carrying out my own bit of research; this panetone is from Milan and is very fine,  the one fromTescos was not so good this year and finished its life in a bread and butter pudding, the Waitrose one was ok although that also finished up in the same bread and butter pudding.  I think l need to expand the research.
My camera arrived back home yesterday, it's beautifully clean and shiny and works. l have taken a few macro photos but need to re-establish my blue tooth  connection and/or find my card reader now.
It's still very stormy outside, we may go to the allotment Christmas party this morning - or we may not...
