Picking up pecans

Since the temperatures were in the teens (°F) last night, we drove up to Deep Run to check on the home place to ensure that all was well.

By the time we arrived, temperatures had just reached 32°F/0°C and we were pleasantly surprised at how warm things were inside the house. Yay.

After ensuring everything was okay, we spend sometime out in the yard picking up pecans.

We decided on the drive home to stop at the Dollar General store in Beulaville which we find tends to have things that other Dollar General stores don’t. We took our time and just browsed all the aisles and I did buy a few things.

It was afternoon when we got home and we got the bed linen washed and back on the beds before it was time for me to do my MS Balance Training.

Then it was head to the church to pick up my nativities. Some of the other sets there were gorgeous and had me wishing I owned them as well.
