Petals

There aren't so many petals around anymore, the temperatures in Cyprus have reached the mid-thirties now and most flowers die off in this heat. We sort of get another spring in autumn though, where everything blooms again once we have some rain. I managed to find these slightly tired looking petals in our garden this evening, amongst some very sorry-looking shrivelled up ones. I am now about to attempt to fillet a sea bass for the first time ever, wish me luck. The man on the Waitrose step-by-step instructions makes it look very easy.
