Giraffes with long scarves

These are the Omni Centre giraffes which I'm very fond of (as nearly everyone is, judging by the fact that they are always being photographed by passers by). I've blipped them before, here and here. I'm glad to say that the tram carnage has been over for quite some time now. Today the giraffes were wearing extremely long scarves which I hope kept their necks warm enough against Storm Darragh - although so far we've got off very lightly. The scarves are in aid of CHAS, Children's Hospices Across Scotland. I wonder how they got up to the giraffes' level to put the scarves on so neatly? Maybe a cherry picker? I was on my way to the Vue cinema to see Conclave with E which we both enjoyed a lot.
