Kitty an da Christmas Tree

A fine morning first thing, rain came in by 10am, rained most of the day.  A dry evening.  Breezy at times and a chilly wind from the north tonight.

Up at 5am, early street beat cleaning at 6am.  I was on the south beat, Lerwick was fairly clean.  Walkies with Sammy after work.  With the rainy morning, I went up in the loft, got the Christmas decorations down, been a busy day.  I took a break in the afternoon, nipped down to Laura's.  Finished off the decorating this evening.  Walkies with Sammy, then early to bed again. 

I've been dreading this moment for the past few weeks, but finally plucked up the courage and got on with it.  Kitty wanted out this morning, perfect, time to put up the Christmas tree.  Kitty came back in after it was up, no decorations.  First glance she was starstruck, walked up and had a sniff, jumped around the back, then back down to clean herself, not interested at all.  Phase two, baubles.  Kitty came back in, still not interested, phew! Could I really be that lucky, is she really not interested in pulling the whole thing down? Long may it continue.  Kitty just after phase one, Hawthorn Cottage, Houl Road, Scalloway.
