Plug and play

After a long, late night chat with bestie yesterday, when both of us probably should have gone to bed an hour before we finished, I slept really well.  Frankly, I needed it, and had a long lie in and a lazy breakfast.

All day it's been blowing a gale, on and off, and mostly raining, so I fiddled with some old photos of slides that Dad took many years ago, had a lazy lunch, spent some time researching options for better indicators for the torpedo, had a lazy tea, and then started making a new piece of wiring loom.  After so much accessorising of power sockets on Fidra and learning along the way, I have a goodly stock of auto-style multi-way connectors, so cheap and cheerful is the new 5-pin mini XLR that required the mad soldering skillz of my brother.  Next step I suppose is to buy a couple more switches, drill some carbon, solder a bunch of wires into the control console, and eventually refit my wedge-shaped light.
