Storm Darragh

Storm Darragh has been raging all night and day with very strong winds and rain.  It woke me in the night roaring around and this morning was even worse.  My wheelie bin had blown from a covered shelter across the garden and that's never happened before.  

Mid morning the electricity went off untill almost 8.00pm.  I ate my meal by the light of candle and torch and wore several layers to keep warm.  It's amazing how many things use electricity these days but was glad that I have a battery radio.

I could have gone over to F's but thought that it was more sensible to stay here and batten down the hatches. My blip was taken through the window this morning.
