Through the window

The hibiscus in my front garden is a favourite spot for small birds throughout the winter: they like to peck away at the dead wood in search of food. It's a long time since I managed to get a decent shot of a long tailed tit though. 

The worst of the rain passed over by midmorning, but it has been windy all day. I think we got off lightly though.
