Hollie Meets Darragh

I braved the elements today, mainly for Hollie's benefit. (Martyr to the cause)

Properly stormy, trees down, roads flooded, debris everywhere.

But Hollie does not care, she had a fantastic time.

Due to the less than clement weather we went the short lane route - half an hour.

The long lane route was blocked by a fallen tree - lucky I didn't go that way earlier.

She loves the culverts when they burst their banks, this one runs under the cottage down the lane. Not my idea of a dream home.

I was frozen to the bone and drenched to the skin when we got back.  But it was invigorating to say the least.

Hollie got showered and buffed and did her best imitation of Nanny McPhee!

Home made potato and leek soup for supper, delicious.

I do hope everyone is safe and drier than me, enjoy the rest of your weekends!
