What a day

The grandson went to bed last night and was asleep by eight thirty, he woke once during the night at around five but went straight back to sleep.
I didn’t sleep well and kept waking with every noise he made.
I think perhaps I should have turned the monitor off.
We have had a lovely day, although we all got wet at some point. I took both dogs out first thing and then later in the afternoon. Hubby, grandson and I went out for a walk and coffee, failed with coffee and ended up back home with cake.
We posted the Christmas cards and splashed in puddles. His snowsuit soon dried over the bathroom radiator.
Lunch time they said they would be back by, 4:30 they turned up. But not to worry we had a great day and grandson wanted to stay another night until he was told about the new car parked outside and he was off. As you can see from the blip he loves cars.
