A cluster of fungi has suddenly appeared at the bottom of the garden, unsurprising really with the damp and humidity. So, I haven't been far except for a quick coffee with B late morning, which lengthened into two hours!  Packed a final few odds and ends, had a pamper bath, washed,  coloured and straightened my hair, and am now going to try and relax.
Had a lovely thank you from my granddaughter, for some money I've sent as a wedding gift.  She so wished I could have been there on her wedding morning, to help her get ready...if only she knew!!. ... The wind is strong today, with intermittent rain, hopefully the worst of it will be gone by tomorrow morning......
