well….that was our family St Nic celebration…..a very memorable one….due to storm Darregh there was a power cut in the restaurant just before the starters were due…..there were battery lights on the table…so it was nice…. we just received our wine….an am amazing smooth Chardonnay……so we had olives and wine….the pianist played Christmas carols…..
then
we received the news that the power wasn’t due to get back on till tomorrow morning, so they offered us platters of charcutery bread and cheese….on the house…..
it was
the most memorable and atmospheric celebration we ever had….,,.one that goes down in family history i can very much recommend Hencote vineyard and restaurant in Shrewsbury….i have decided to book in March to celebrate several birthdays….and have hopefully a meal as well as wine and bites….

memories were made…:)
