An angel from Ecuador!
We had a change of plan today due to the storm….we were going to drive west to a family gathering but my brother rang early to say that he would not fancy driving to us so probably best if we didn’t drive to his house! We were very relieved as we were rather concerned because it was very windy and raining here and their conditions were worse. We were due to meet first at a NT house and all of them were closed to day, as was Hampton about and Wisley etc. we had been looking forward to meeting up with nephew, niece and their families too but better ‘safe than sorry’.
So all the cards etc we were due to take I packaged up and have sent tracked delivery . We may go to visit later in the week but best to get them sent as contain two children’s Birthday presents.
Staying at home meant I have now finished decorating the Christmas trees….this is the one in our kitchen diner, this angel we bought from a roadside stall when we were in Ecuador many years ago. Plus the other clay decorations. The beaded angel at the top of the tree was also bought from a very small shop near an airport in Botswana!
Now I have no excuse not to get on with sorting Lego….
