Storm Darragh

They were correct about Storm Darragh when we received a Government warning over our mobile phone yesterday evening as we were in the local pub. It warned of up to 90 mph winds, rain, and danger to life, and advising people not to travel unless necessary. The most affected parts of the UK was Wales.

They were spot on and early this morning our electric went off and the mobile signal from the mast gone so we've had no internet.

Late this afternoon I popped out to post my film blips to my journal and get a photo' for this main one. It's taken from above Monmouth looking over The Black Mountains, and is the sun bursting through the clouds on its way to bed.  I bet not many in the UK will have seen any sun!
