1935 SS One

This beautiful sports car is on display at Auto Restorations. The bonnet was up, as it was having a battery charge, which rather detracts from the beautiful body lines. I had never heard of SS however I now know the history. The name SS was abandoned after the Second World War as the owners felt that it would have connotations with the German SS. The company emerged in 1945 with a new name, Jaguar.
