In Dumfries train station. Fleeting visit to Dumfries today to give a talk to the Dumfries and Galloway Natural History and Antiquarian Society. I was talking about an independent archaeology research project I ran with a couple of archaeology friends a number of years ago. I hadn't intended for my visit to Dumfries to be quite so fleeting, but that was the way it worked out. But, before the talk, I met up with my cousin who lives in Dumfries. It must be almost 20 years since I last saw him, so it was lovely to reconnect!

After my talk I got the train from Dumfries to Glasgow and I'm now at my brother's for the night.
