Friday on my mind
I knew today was going to be busy and I wasn't wrong!
Ali came in at 12 to drop off the girls then while we gave them lunch she took Marvin to kennels. She headed off not long afterwards and Jon arrived with Eilidh, he'd dropped Isobel off at dancing already. Eilidh has had an upset stomach overnight so had been off school and wasn't going to get own dance class. We had a quiet time at home till it was time to go and pick up Isobel.
We went to Asda on the way home for some present ideas. Isobel decided it would be a good idea for the family to do a secret Santa so they all drew names out of a hat. My task this weekend is to assist each in buying the gift for their allocated person but not letting the other know who for, or what, the gift was!
They didn't buy anything but at least got some ideas of prices, they only have £5 to spend.
Back home I made a macaroni cheese which I finished off in the oven. Eilidh seems much better but still has little appetite. Both girls were asleep by 8 tonight. Katy got home at tea time and it was nice to sit and chat this evening. She was absolutely drenched having cycled from Little France in that terrible rain. She is working all weekend as it's Jon in his case on nights, so I'm going to be pretty busy for the rest of the weekend. Colin is in Banchory with his sister finalising the details of the sale of their mother's flat.
We bought popcorn in Asda. Apparently it is essential when watching Strictly tomorrow!
