A lorry was loaded today with 10,000 shoe boxes bound for Moldova. It’s all hard work but so worthwhile.
My role as manager is very much overseeing and enabling things to get done. Also teaching each set of volunteers all the complexities of what is ok and what is not in a shoebox. I also tend to give lots of the impact stories half way through each session. That was made a bit harder when the microphone failed!! A great day though - starting at 8.30 am and finishing today at 9.00pm
