Renegade

A pretty decent day at work - over the other side of town for a good chunk of it which I wasn't expecting. I was asked to go with some other staff to support people to the annual get-together for Edinburgh and the various Lothians over Easter Road way. All rather enjoyable with lunch provided, entertainment, music, a magician...unfortunately us staff weren't allowed to enter the raffle but never mind ;-)

And then out in the evening, on a very foul night indeed, to The Traverse to see a couple of plays as part of their 4Play season featuring new plays from Edinburgh playwrights. Butterflies And Benefits was very good, but the play after the interval was even better. Cheapo was excellent - punchy, funny, moving and really well performed. They're both on again tomorrow if anyone's looking for a theatre fix.
