Drip drip

A good meeting today, progressing a very interesting long term prospect. The was going to be an excellent end to the week until we noticed the boiler was leaking.

A quick google and the advice is.

‘Turn off your boiler’
‘Run to the the hills’
‘Prepare to buy a new boiler’

Clearly all of these are suboptimal.

I stripped the covers off it and called our heater bloke, who wasn’t picking up.
I then drained water off figuring it was over pressure, this didn’t help.

Paul the heater bloke called, I showed him where the water was coming from. He decided it was the drain… and offered to pop round on Monday and sort it, in the meantime we could use if we want, ( and not run to the hills). I had a look at the drain and it was blocked by leaves… sorted !!

A very lucky result!!
