drove straight through with my dad--road tripping with him is pretty unique:

he talked mostly about the santa fe trail and baseball for fourteen hours. he likes to talk.

we stopped at three different mcdonald's (he calls them Club M): trinidad, CO; childress, TX; and bowie, TX.

this is some rest stop in the middle of nowhere. i'm tired.
