High Jinks

The day started bright and calm. I was lacking in energy so while Andy walked Merlin, I rested with the window open to let in the fresh air and cheerful winter bird song.

The rest of the morning was spent on a rather less appealing activity- listening to a webinar about my pension scheme. It was informative and useful so worthwhile spending several hours of a sunny day inside in front of a screen. The afternoon has slipped away amidst getting a start on writing Christmas cards, walking Merlin and some administrative tasks.

Merlin appears to have decided long dark evenings are rather boring and got one of his toys out for a game of chase. Here you can see his guilty expression revealing he knows I don’t approve of him wrapping himself up in the curtains!

We are now braced for a stormy night and day tomorrow as Storm Darragh sweeps in across the country.

Rest well and take care.
