Happy Mikolajki!

AKA St Nicholas Day! When we lived in Poland we quickly learned how important a day today is to all Polish children! It marks the beginning of the Christmas celebrations that see Christmas trees and lights remaining on until February 2nd! I noticed these wintry lightless trees in Cheltenham today. (Yes, there’s plenty of mistletoe on high!) Storm Darragh is on its way and high winds are forecast across the South West tonight. Luckily all this years’ leaves are long gone.
