Zeitgeist or carbuncle ...?

Every time I approach this part of Lancaster from the M6 ... or edging around the groaning one-way system I ask myself if this 'new development of flats is growing on me. I really haven't decided yet. I do know I wouldn't want to live at this place - if only because it stands on/above what is, in effect, a big traffic island.
