Everyone is Wearing Red Hats!

I haven't seen a Red Bellied Woodpecker for a while.  Don't ask me why they are called "red bellied", they don't have a red belly, but they do have a rather shockingly red head.  He posed very nicely on the special wrap I put on the pole so birds, and squirrels, have something to grab onto.  We got a lot more snow than expected yesterday and it is snowing again this morning.  I think I am entering my "Wu Wei Winter" mode...photographing only what comes to me.  Wu Wei is a Chinese term meaning "doing without doing".  Works for me!
