My helper

I started the first jigsaw puzzle this morning for the 2024-25 season, and of course, Peaches had to help. Eventually I convinced her to move, so she went to the living room and was bird watching. I heard her chirps, which meant there were birds outside. I had to check to see which ones were around in the rain today.
I had a downy woodpecker at the suet. There were chickadees and goldfinches at the feeder. Lots of sparrows on the ground as well as one that came to the feeder. There was a northern flicker sitting in the tree for several minutes. There is one blue jay that is coming to the feeder, I'm sure he will be telling his friends. And I spotted a cardinal in the multiflora rose close to the ravine. Hopefully he will come closer, and start using the feeder sometimes.
I started hanging some things on the walls today. I am going to need to get a couple of new frames. I have 6 pictures together on one wall, but one of them is in a wooden frame and the other 5 are in black frames.
A mild, rainy and windy day today. The temperature is supposed to start dropping tonight and continue to drop tomorrow. It is supposed to be windy again tomorrow.
