Notes: Slept a bit better and until almost 7a. Did the morning dog/cats routine and then headed out to the horses. Extreme wind, temps in 30s but felt much colder. Went thru and felt like I was going to get thru more quickly but then Major wouldn't go out to pasture, was acting weird and ran thru Paint's stall and around and then just hung up by the stable - Paint had already headed out. I texted Cami and she thought he must be sick so went back out a couple times checking on him - he was eating and drinking water and seemed overall ok. I was planning to head to Galax but had to end up leaving a mess for the horse friend and calling USPS to see how to get my Amazon pkg (crock pot that they sent USPS ??). Pretty soon it was after 11a and Major finally went out to pasture and seemed to be doing well ... so I got dressed and made the trek to Galax - Super Walmart for a bunch of stuff and UPS Store to return my funky memory foam mattress topper that was all deformed (Macy's). Got back and did some things around the house, later made 2 filets - cold-seared with the carbon steel grill pan. Also cut up onions and garlic and put in the toaster oven on air fry - came out good! - and made a batch of cacao whipped cream! Phone call w/ Michelle then until almost 5p ... headed out to bring in the horses then. Had to go to the farthest end of pasture and halter them both. Dropping temps and wind ... relaxed and had some popcorn, Michelle ordered me the Costco toaster oven that is also an air fryer and folds up when not being used (on sale) so that's exciting! Went back out just before 8p to do the final feeding and close up the stalls -coldest night yet I think espec w/ the whipping wind! And there was pee on the mats in front and poop in both stalls so had a bit extra work to do. In for my late shower (that has become the norm here), put on Thurs Night Football (on Prime) and made some hot peppermint tea.
