Apples and Oranges

Another fun day at work with lots of laughter and a lot of running around trying to find a person.
So, the last couple of days I've had to step over a large tree that'd fallen across one of the footpaths in the forest I walk through to and from work. I'm happy I had a flashlight on the first morning, because the spot where the tree lays is pitch black, so tripping was possible. Today I asked the personell taking care of parks, who was responsible for the city forest during winter time. I got a name and after that we started talking about other things and then a lot of joking and laughter. One of them and I we really get going. :D
When they'd left, I asked my boss where this person has his office, and got a description. After walking too far and being guided to the right place by one of the other workers, I found an empty office... So, back to the greenhouse, after some more chatts with the 'park personell' I ran into again. I wrote a short message on a paper and drew a 'map' to the fallen tree, and signed it with my name and where to reach me if the map needed explanations (which I though for sure! :D).
Then I continued with my chore: creating a mouse inspired by the picture. At first, I weren't that sure I'd make it... but I continued. Then I had to do 'an errand' across to another building (we don't have working toilettes in the greenhouse, so...), and afterwards I ran in to the 'Park personell' again and stood outside in the cold taking to them for about 10-15 minutes. And then inside again to thaw (-11 degrees Celsius today, so a bit nippy) a bit and eat breakfast. My boss asked me if she should send an email to the man in charge of the city forest, because he has another office too, and I said Yes! He replied later and my boss read it to me: an excellent map, and thank you for noticing the tree. I thought it rather funny, because it was impossible for me to not notice the tree. :D And it was a bit funny also that he thought the map excellent. :D
A lot of laughter with my boss, and one of the other bosses. We have the same sense of humour and I can be rather ironic sometimes, which my boss likes. :D Good day today. :)
And, the mouse is coming along. Fav tree had to be in my collage too. It's a winter tree now, with frosty branches.
